Cookie and Local Storage Policy

1. Scope

This policy concerns browser storage and similar technologies used by CertifiedPracticeTests.com and the downloadable practice files it supplies. Read it with our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small records stored through a website in your browser. Local storage is another way to save data in the browser. Pixels and embedded scripts may also send information to another service without using a conventional cookie.

2. Necessary store functions

Our hosting and checkout services may use necessary technologies for functions such as security, shopping-cart continuity and payment processing. The actual technology, provider, purpose and duration are listed in the inventory below. Whether a technology is exempt from consent depends on its purpose and the applicable law, not simply on being called necessary.

3. Optional analytics and advertising

Where prior consent is legally required, optional technologies are not activated until you agree. 4. Local practice progress

Some downloadable HTML tests use local storage to remember answers and the current question. This storage supports the practice function you use; it does not, by itself, transmit the information to our store. Progress may be lost when storage is cleared or the browser environment changes. Use the supplied reset control or browser storage settings to remove it.

This description applies to locally operating versions. Any product with additional network features will identify them separately.

5. Current technology inventory

6. Your controls and contact

Browser settings can restrict or remove storage, although blocking necessary storage may affect checkout or saved progress.
