1. Who is responsible for your information

CertifiedPracticeTests.com is operated by BalaSagar, trading as Certified Practice Tests, at [Hyderabad, INDIA]. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that operator.

We sell downloadable educational resources, including ZIP packages containing HTML practice tests, PDFs, multiple-choice questions, explanations and programming or interview preparation materials. This policy explains our handling of personal information in connection with our store and customer support. It is a notice about our practices, not a request for blanket consent.

2. Information handled by the store

Order and contact information: We process the details you submit during checkout or support, such as your name, email, billing address, country, and telephone number where requested, together with the products purchased, price, transaction reference, payment status and correspondence. Tax information is requested where needed for an invoice. Required fields are identified when information is collected. Without the necessary order and delivery information, we may be unable to fulfil your purchase.

Technical information: Our website infrastructure and service providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request timestamps, security logs and records needed to operate checkout and digital delivery. Optional tracking, if used, is described in our Cookie and Local Storage Policy.

3. Downloaded practice tests and local progress

Our downloadable HTML practice tests run in your browser. Versions using local storage may save selected answers and your current question on your device so that you can resume practice. Scores can be calculated from those answers within the file. Local storage is distinct from the store’s order records.

For the offline editions described as storing progress locally, we do not receive your answers or scores merely because you open and use the downloaded file. We receive results only if you choose to share them with us, for example in a support screenshot. Clearing browser storage, using private browsing, changing browsers or moving files can affect saved progress. Use the test’s reset function, where supplied, or your browser’s storage controls to clear it.

If a particular product includes online reporting, activation, external resources or another data transmission feature, its product notice will explain that feature and the information involved before purchase or activation. A link opened to an external website is subject to that website’s privacy practices.

4. Purposes and legal grounds

We use necessary information to fulfil purchases, deliver downloads, issue invoices, provide assistance, resolve complaints, process refunds, protect the store, prevent payment abuse and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Where EU or UK data protection law applies, our grounds are performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract for ordering and delivery; legal obligation for required accounting and compliance; and legitimate interests for proportionate security, fraud prevention and support administration, subject to your rights. We use Hostinger Website Builder and related infrastructure to operate the store. Depending on the features enabled, Hostinger and its service providers may process customer and order information as well as technical data to host the website, operate checkout and delivery, maintain security and provide support. Their role is not limited to anonymous server information.

We also disclose relevant information to payment processors, delivery or storage services, business email providers, and authorised people assisting with support, accounting or legal obligations. Providers receive information relevant to their functions. Some, including payment providers, may also process information for their own legal responsibilities.

We use AI tools, including ChatGPT, Claude Ai under expert guidance to help develop educational materials. This describes content production; it does not mean that using a downloaded test sends your answers to an AI provider.

7. International processing

8. How long information is retained

Where there is a legal hold, relevant records may be retained until the matter is resolved.

Depending on the law applying to you, rights may also include portability, restriction, objection, nomination, and complaint or appeal rights. Some records must be kept despite a deletion request. We explain any lawful refusal or limitation.

Where EU/UK law applies, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests and may object to direct marketing at any time. You may complain to your local supervisory authority; UK users can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.

Indian users may contact our grievance officer. Statutory rights and escalation routes under India’s data protection framework apply as the relevant provisions commence and become applicable. Elsewhere, you may approach the competent privacy regulator as provided by local law.

We may request proportionate information to verify a request. We respond within the applicable legal deadline, explain any permitted extension, and do not penalise you for exercising protected rights.

11. Age and changes

Our store is intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not intentionally solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has supplied information, contact us so we can investigate and take the steps required by law.
